Welcome to Lewiston Council on the Arts

Lewiston Council on the Arts (LCA) regretfully announces the cancellation of this year's Marble Orchard Ghost Walks. We will miss welcoming thrill seekers from across WNY and seeing Lewiston filled with hundreds of visitors enjoying 'theatre in the streets' on Saturday nights in September and October.
They have been a major fund-raiser for LCA, and donations from generous spirits will be gratefully received. In the meantime, Marble Orchard Players will be 'digging up' new characters and stories to share in 2021. We are already 'Ghost Writing' for next season!
The Tribute to the Edmund Fitzgerald scheduled for Saturday, November 7 2020, has also been cancelled.

Congratulations to the winners of the KeyBank Chalk Your Walk Competition: Lexi Fox Honorable Mention; April Radder People's Choice; and Erika Thurkins' image was selected as Best of Show. Take a look at their work here. Want to take a look at all 53 entries? Click here and go to our facebook Chalk Your Walk photo album.

Lewiston Council on the Arts regretfully had to cancel the 54th Annual Lewiton Art Fesstival due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are featuring the work of the artists who were juried into this year's show on the Art Festival page. We hope you enjoy (and buy!) their work online.

To make a donation to LCA's Spirit of Victory restoration fund, please do so here. And thank you!
Lewiston Council on the Arts is proud to be a part of Arts Niagara an initiative of the Cultural Alliance of Niagara (CAN).   CAN is a member-powered collaborative that positions Niagara County's flourishing arts and cultural sector as a vital regional asset and visitor destination, essential to the region's economic success and quality of life. We encourage you to check out their website for listings of the programs and activities offered by the participating organizations.
Lewiston Council on the Arts is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all by nurturing a thriving environment for the arts and for cultural activities, promoting opportunities for artists, encouraging public participation in the arts, and actively advocating for the arts. We bring creative talent and public appreciation together to create an artistic identity for the beautiful and historic Village of Lewiston. Located in Upstate New York along the shore of the Niagara River, our proximity to Canada encourages the bi-national interchange of artists and performers and contributes to the abundant cultural richness of the Niagara region. Lewiston is a 90 minute drive from Toronto, Ontario, less than an hour from Buffalo, and minutes from Niagara Falls, NY. We hope you will experience and enjoy the quality cultural programs and activities we offer and facilitate throughout the County and know that we recognize your role in supporting our efforts in making this happen. The support of the community is key to our success and we thank the Town of Lewiston, the Village of Lewiston and our generous sponsors. Please make a tax-deductible donation to Lewiston Council on the Arts and help to support the arts in your own backyard!
